MetroSquared Foundation Pays Off Student Lunch Debt at Hampden Elementary

Cumberland Valley School District, PA — February 1, 2026 — The MetroSquared Foundation is proud to announce that it has paid off outstanding student lunch debt for 13 students at Hampden Elementary School in the Cumberland Valley School District. This marks the first time the Foundation has undertaken a student lunch debt relief initiative, reflecting its growing commitment to supporting children and families in the local community.

Student lunch debt can create unnecessary stress for families and, more importantly, can impact a child’s ability to focus, learn, and feel secure at school. By eliminating this debt, Metro Squared Foundation aims to ensure that students have consistent access to nutritious meals and can fully engage in their education without stigma or worry.

“This initiative is about meeting kids where they are,” said a representative of the Metro Squared Foundation. “No child should go through the day hungry or burdened because of circumstances outside their control. We’re honored to support these students and families at Hampden Elementary.”

Metro Squared Foundation is a family-led nonprofit dedicated to identifying practical, community-based solutions that positively impact families. While the Foundation has supported various charitable causes in the past, this program represents a new focus

on addressing immediate needs within local schools. The Foundation hopes this effort will be the first of many similar initiatives and is actively exploring additional ways to support students.
