“MetroSquared Foundation Participates in Mission 76 of Lone Eagle Honor Flight Program”
Recently, the MetroSquared Foundation sponsored Mission 76 for the Lone Eagle Honor Flight program. Several members of the Foundation volunteered during the mission and two members were Guardians for the veterans. The Foundation was honored and proud to be the sponsor for this Lone Eagle mission.
What Is Lone Eagle?
The Honor Flight Network’s mission is to fly our nation’s senior Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials, at no cost to the veterans. While the Honor Flight Network is comprised of over 135 Honor Flight Hubs around the country, not every geographic location is serviced by a regional Hub airport. The Lone Eagle Honor Flight mission ensures that all eligible Veterans are able to participate in an Honor Flight trip. The Lone Eagle Hub honors military Veterans who served up through May 1975 as well as terminally ill Veterans.
